It’s a very sad oxymoron today that you need money in order to make money, and even to get money by way of a loan.  If you don’t have assets then most banks won’t loan you money and yet those without assets are usually the ones that need money the most!  So how do you get a personal loan with poor credit?  What options are there for those who don’t have much of a credit history or who have some black marks on their record?

Make sure you read the fine print for your personal loan; poor credit sometimes happens because a person got into loans and other arrangements they really didn’t understand.  Don’t make this same mistake twice!  Make sure you understand how the interest is calculated and compounded and what happens if you default, even for one day.  It’s better to ask questions and to make sure you’re clear on things than it is to let embarrassment or the need for a loan get you into even more financial trouble!  So keep these thoughts in mind when shopping for a loan and you’ll no doubt find you have more options than you imagined.
